Oh man. Where do I begin?
Dragon Age: Origins will always mean a lot to me. ~Jodimus bought it for me as a distraction when my Grandfather passed away last year and it helped. I remember when he bought it for me, he pointed to the hooded character and told me I'd want to cosplay her. I wasn't too interested and brushed it off. It's funny because I wasn't a fan of Morrigan after my first run through. I have no idea what I did to make her hate me. lol After my second play, she easily became my favourite character and my bff in the game (Alstair will always have my heart tho~~~), so I threw her on my dream cosplay list and decided to make her for Fanexpo. Dragon Age is one of my favourite games, so I am happy I made something from it. :3
The whole outfit was a combination of leather, craft foam, wonderflex, wire, resin, and model magic/paperclay. I am so proud of this costume. <3 It pretty much took me a month with a full time job and I'm happy with the outcome. Of course I want to tweak some things. The top is not made of the fabric I wanted, but I couldn't find anything I liked other than the one you see in the picture. I just wanted something with stretch that wasn't metallic or matte. *shrug* Also, I want to re-do the belts out of matching leather from the rest of the skirt because I used belt blanks that were way too thick. I couldn't sew them to the skirt, so I had to glue them and they kept falling out. :\ If I had a thinner leather, I could easily sew them to the skirt and add the proper leather trim, so I will do that once I have extra cash coming in.
As for Isabela, the choice to make her was easy. I enjoyed Dragon Age 2 and I really liked Isabela's costume, but it wouldn't suit my body. My best friend really wanted to experience cosplay, so I had to make it for her because it was very fitting. It was a lot of fun to make! The top is muslin with suede lacing, lots of leather and wonderflexcraft foam for the arm, leather gloves, giant buckles, and craft foam necklaces. We didn't have time to make the peni-...snake choker and the boots are a rushed job. We broke the number one rule of cosplay and made her boots heels when they're flats. My friend wasn't one for accuracy and perferred heels, but funny enough, she wished they were flats after many hours of wearing them. Other than that, it was successful. HIGH FIVE.
I'm planning for a photoshoot soon and I hope it happens before fall because I'll be way too cold. </3
I don't know where to begin...compliments override in my mind so many things to say. I think I'll just favorite the picture haha. My favorite characters...together! at the same time!!! If I were there to take a picture with both of you I would have frame it.
Excellent work with the costumes and the time spent was very well worth it.
I should rephrase. Thank you for the comment on Morrigan, but it's rude to say a costume is fail because of skin colour? If you don't have anything nice to say, please don't say it at all.

lol, sorry, it's the first thing that came to mind. XD you two look absolutely amazing!! <3
I have to point out the hair and make-up: NICELY DONE! I notice sometimes cosplays ignore the hair, and you've nailed it *for both Morrigan and Isa*
